Poet Jenny Noble Anderson
As a young poet, Jenny Noble Anderson was awarded The Murphy Poetry Prize at Hendrix College in Arkansas but shifted directions to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work.
Now a writer, therapist and sobriety coach, she incorporates poetry and writing into both her own life and her clients’ treatment plans.
Jenny’s work has been featured in Poets Unlimited, The Coffeelicious, The Aonian, and (a) river rising: Anthology of Women’s Voices, Vols. I and II from Women Writing for (a) Change. Her first full collection, But Still She Flies, a collaboration with Artist Emma Greenhill, will be published in Spring 2021.
She maintains a therapy and coaching practice that allows space for her poetry, and lives with her husband and son in Florida.
Artist Emma Greenhill
Emma is a Florida based artist, creating figurative artwork from her imagination. With a rich color palette she uses the canvas to capture the strength and vulnerability of women overcoming adversity. Knitted into her work are glimpses of nature that represent hope, strength and courage.
Emma paints from her home near Jacksonville Florida and participates in art shows across the State while being represented by the Butterfield Garage Art Gallery in Saint Augustine, Florida. She has won several awards for her work, including Best of Show 2019 at the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts in Cedar Key.
Her artwork was published in Women Writing for (a) Change Anthology, Birds & Blooms alongside the poetry of Jenny Noble Anderson. Their book But Still She Flies will debut Spring 2021.
Musician Sharon Scholl
Sharon Scholl holds a Doctorate in Music and Humanities from Florida State University. She is a retired college professor and was designated Professor Emeritus at Jacksonville University in Florida. She has held fellowships form the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Woodrow Wilson Foundation and earned a Fulbright Fellowship to Turkey.
In addition to being an accomplished Musician and Composer, she is also a writer and poet. Her books include Music and Culture, Death and Humanities and poetry collections: Unauthorized Biographies, All Points Bulletin, Seasons and Summer’s Child. Her poems have appeared in literary anthologies including Oasis, Kalliope, Northwoods and Poetry Motel.
She is long-time church musician and her website freeprintmusic.com holds 30 years of choral and other compositions free for download. She enjoys being part of The Gathering, poets who meet at the Ponte Vedra Library. Their poetry collection, A Gathering of Poets, is available through Amazon as are some of Sharon’s books.
